CHALK TO COAST
This visionary landscape scale project, launched in 2025, works to create a nature recovery corridor in Kent. The mission is to reverse biodiversity loss, improve climate resilience and support nature-friendly farming. Supporting farmers, communities and businesses to create a greener, more sustainable future – one which benefits both nature and people. The approach brings together farmers, conservationists and investors, working together to deliver nature restoration projects which support economic growth, sustainable food production and climate action.
The Chalk to Coast project unites three established farm clusters, Hoo Peninsula, Swale and North Kent Downs and Medway Gap, forming a ‘super cluster’ that will create natural wildlife corridors across different habitats.
MBLA are at the heart of this project as founding partners and instrumental in the visioning of this project. We have collaborated with the multiple stakeholders and provided technical knowledge with mapping and graphics. We also enjoyed working with our fellow founding partners and Ditto Creative on the communication of the project, inputting into the branding, graphics and messaging.
